So as you all know I have a lovely rottie puppy who is now 10 months old. We do a bit of everything and are planning on doing our Bh when the time comes. I also hope that we can do a bit of agility. When we aren't doing serious things I like teaching her new tricks but I have run out of ideas... She can close doors, find my keys and phone and bring them to me, spin in circles either way, army crawl, dead, wave, touch and she can also push a box along the floor. Share some of your dogs best tricks and give me some inspiration please :)

Pip our Lancashire Heeler was taught at six months to ring a reception bell with her paw, I do have It on fb but as a techno phobe am incapable of putting it on here:(. I stuck a five pence piece on it to make it easier.

We taught her all the normal tricking spinging left and right and also rolling over and decided to go for something a bit more sophisticated. I started off getting her to touch a card on the floor and extended it to the bell.

Jakey used to dance around a handbag.

Have a look at videos of dog dancing competitions (not sure if that is what they are called but do you know what I mean?) and you'll get more ideas.

Dylan closes doors "close it" removes socks "socky" brings in his toys "clean up", identifies his king from other toys, does roll over, spin left /right, hi five, paw left/ right, dead (although doesn't stay still well), we can okay find the treat where I hid a treat under a cup and jiggle about 3 cups "which one" and he puts his paw on the one with the treat in. I don't want him knowing the bell because he could reach the door bell so wouldn't put it past him to try that once understanding a bell. Wish I could teach him to poo pick the garden.

mine can do army crawl, and can throw and catch 'her' slipper. She does a good hoover impression too (cleans up after spillages!) to the cue 'hoover'!!
Apart from that, she doesn't have any more brain cells to learn anything else, even though we've tried! Whippet brain!!

my JRT has been taught to - play a piano ( not a real one)

she can step up and dance a circle, jump through hoops...

But by far the best trick I taugh her was to fall down dead when i shoot her with my fingers gun! and say "bang" :)

Best trick ever?
Persuading me to let them live in the house, eat my food and be pandered to, walked, bathed, fires lit for them, big comfy bed and an abundance of love

Most amazing trick ever, still can’t figure out how they get away with this?

She does a few :o

She can also "turn around" (self explanatory) and "speaks". :D

Bark on command. Then lip read the command. This last is the most fun though maybe not the best.

Visiting kids have to ask the dog if they want a biscuit or piece of cake. I'm standing behind the child and mouth "Speak".

Dog barks so giving permission for the child to have the reward....:D

Well, it amuses me. But then I'm easily pleased.:)

Her "best" trick is to chase the hens out of the barn and stop them roosting on the hay bales. Once they are outside the barn, she leaves them in peace.

My boy does loads of stuff, but his most complex to teach was the stacking rings - those child's toys. Haven't quite got him to choose them in order himself, but he will put them in the order I indicate.

Jump onto the low kitchen work surface, bunny hop onto the bin and then an elegant leap onto the high work surface where the cats food lives...... I caught him yesterday , he had to good grace to look mildly embarrassed .:)

Jed can do "stick 'em up" and then we say bang and he falls to the floor and pretends to be dead ;). he can spin left and right, beg and can pick out his yellow toy from all the others.

Hector wakes up in the middle of the night and makes his way to the kitchen to see what he can have for a midnight snack. once I went down to get some water and when he saw me he ran back into the living room and pretended to be asleep. not even joking it was the funniest thing I have ever seen!
