What is the general rule for stud fees

I have a lovely english mastiff dog who I hope to breed from, I was wondering is it true the fee is the price of one puppy. Also where would you advertise these services? Thanks!

You will firstly if not done so, need all his health tests carrying out before hand, if you are to charge a stud fee u need a dog with good health scores, hips exc, not sure where u would advertise but obs make sure the bitch/es are health tested too, mayeb Dozzie can advise, I dont think she breeds but she has english mastiffs.

Thanks I am getting his health checks done, before I decide whether to go for it or not. I'll have to do some more research!
