As title says really - looking to get someone to show a horse for me to sell and to keep it ticking over (hacking it out) but Ive no idea what the hourly rates are. Horse is competition horse - not dangerous or silly but needs confident rider to work it.

Depends how good the rider is and how much they want to ride the horse.

Over the last 18 months I’ve used 2 riders (advanced BE) one at £20 one at £25 who rode 2-3 times/week BUT they had an interest in doing that for various reasons. Those prices are on the cheap side.

For riders of their level without a particular interest you might expect £30-40 easily otherwise

I pay £30 per session for a fab pro rider. I don’t have a school so she is hacking her once a week at the moment. Once the field dries out she’ll school. And when we can I’ll hack to a school and meet her there. She rides or coaches.
