I think you should ring your vet. My dog acted similarly when she had a GDV (twisted gut). I hope its not this but if it is its an emergency. Good luck.

well she has been doing it for the past week but not as bad as today. we took her to the vets not that long ago and they said everything was fine just that she was a bit over weight. she has been fine through the day on the night time she has been a bit ill but she is much worse today. she normally gets a bit off a bad stomache during the night time she never really gets one during the day. now she is panting she has water and when i let her in the garden she doesnt want to come back in but it is raning and she hates the rain she normally doesnt want to go outside. thank you for your help. when my mam gets in i will see how she is feeling if she is no better i will take her to the vets.

I would be ringing you mum now to tell her you need to ring the vet and get her to the surgery.
Could be something really serious or could just be nothing.
But if it was my dog i wouldn't be willing to take the chance.

Is she able to pass faeces, it sounds like she could be constipated, what kind of dog is she? has she been straining at all?
I definately think she will need another trip to the vets for a check up.

I f she stays settled, u may get away with taking her to a morning clinic, as opposed to emergency hours, I would keep a close eye on her passing of urine and faeces, to pass any info on to the vet, panting can be a sign of stress/high temp/loose faeces or constipation which coud coincide with the noises coming from her stomach.
With constipation they can also try to circle and scratch, to try and help push the motion out

What are u feeding her?, it may be worth looking into her diet if she gets frequents stomach upset or problems with her digestion.
Give the vets a call, they may give u some advice over the phone and tell u what to keep an eye on for tonight and make u and appointment for tomorrow if they feel it can wait

The shivering with the panting is also common of loose faeces or constipation, and she is prob following u cos she is feeling off sorts and a little insecure not understanding why she is a feeling the way she is, as she may have cramp pains if it is her stomach/digestion that is causing her problems, and if she is feeling yacky and bloated she won't want to eat.

When she becomes unsettled again, let her out and close the door and watch her from the window, she is she begins to squat with out passing or passes loose squigy pooh.
