Ifor Williams 401/3. What can I tow a 17hh warmblood in with a normal 3.5 license gained after 1997.

You'll need to take a trailer test 'cos you're after 1997, its not very hard but you'll need lessons or instruction/practice. loads of people fail on reversing so make sure you can do it well. After that you need to find out what the towing capacity of your car/4x4 is and then find a trailer that matches the car, then you can see if your horse fits in the weight/height of the trailer. Good luck. it seems a bit complicated but this will stop you getting nicked. See my other posts this evening.
 
Do you mean the single horse trailer, if so Im sure its the same height as a 510 so 17.2hh max.
Not sure when the trailer test came in though.
 
Thanks Louby, I do and that is the only trailer I can drive without taking my test so wanted to make sure it was ok for my horse.
