What is the name of the snazzy breastplate that eventers use?

Yes I will admit that I am that sad that I LOVE buying my horse new stuff. As I have run out of things we need I was thinking that those snazzy breastplates / martingales that some of the eventers use look very nice. But I cant remember who makes them. They are the ones that are elasticated and have sheepskin I think under the points. Can anyone remember the name?

You can order the breastplates in this coutry if you go onto the web site you email our local distributor and they will order for you. You cant however get their bridles in the Uk from the distributor

The jeffries on is nice as well though.
 
devoucoux kolibri, comes in either an eventing style or showjumping style. I have a sj style which is finer black elastic instead of the green and yellow thicker elastic. It was 183.00 inc postage but the jeffries one is nice and alot cheaper as said ealier, that one has navy elastic i think,poss with a faint cream edgeing.Bware thou as the dev's come small and it only just fit my 16.3.
 
Yeah agree with VLH, they come up small and I hate the colour!!!! Had one made for me instead (friend did it so not too horrendous price) in black which is lovely for my stranged shaped chap!!!!
Also u see alot of people who have them done up too tight which restricts the horses movement, so make sure u don't do this!!!
 
Ive got the jefferies copy, was ALOT cheaper, and when compared directly to a friends Devoucoux, the leather quality was VERY similar.....if not better in places with the Jefferies....

They attach at 5 points to your saddle, so are more secure and offer less liklehood your saddle will move. More of a safety thing really, they are like a breastgirth and breastplate combined, but the design means the straps are unlikely to restrict your horses movement at all, whilst keeping everything in place. My boy has a big deep chest, and doesnt like his girth being over tightened, so this just keeps the saddle in place without me having to throttle him! Also looks nicer than putting 2 breastplates on.

but I am planning to start competing this year with my lad and even though he is very handsome he is very green. So I thought if I am going to be a disaster round the SJ ring I might as well do it in style
