What is the point of the Robinson's website?

Sounds typical, I used to always use the site but now its got so little stock its just a waste of time. It came to a head when I was ordering some other stuff and wanted a black whip, nothing special just a black whip. Nothing in stock. Emailed and they reckoned they didn't have one in stock.... just gave up.
 
Robinsons is only there to annoy you :D

I went into their shop in Haydock once - v. disappointed. It contained everything you could possibly need for your horse, yourself and your stable but it contains nothing you actually want!
 
i posted about their sale not long ago..... well i rang them yesterday to find out where the hell one of the rugs i'd ordered was, after all sorts of problems with their website, to be told that the rug i'd ordered wasnt in stock and the order was taken by mistake. I was told to have a look on the website for an alternative, and that i would be given 20% off it. So i hung up, spent the next hour looking for alternatives in the right size on the website ( i always prepare a list in choice order as usually my 1st choice isnt in stock!), then rang back up to order.

The long and short of this anecdote is that sometimes its better to ring them than rely on the website, as when i rang the second time to order rug in a particular colour, i found out that other colours/makes were in fact in stock when they were showing up as out of stock on the website.

Yep - I can't cope with the website, it's what I would call shoddy and nothing if ever in stock..
 
Ditto my experience with them, overcharged in the Cannock store.
The only thing I could get hold of was 2 pairs of black over reach boots, when they finally did sort that mess out, and thats another story!
Was hoping that the stock holding for the new catalogue might be better,doesnt sound much like it.
 
I noticed every single item said out of stock
I was looking at hi viz stuff for hacking this autumn winter like a jacket or exercise sheet - all out of stock
Then I looked at a stock shirt and every shirt on the page was out of stock
Used to like robinsons now hate it!
I tend to use derby house etc and my tack shops at home as even if they don't have something they just order it in - saves postage!
