What is the worst thing you could possibly do to upset your dogs?

The worst thing I could do is leave mine home alone, or even be out of her sight. It's absolutely fine when she wants to leave me to chase a squirrel or a fox, but apparently the end of the world if I go anywhere 🙄
It’s very obvious that when you leave them, you are off on the Ultimate Squirrel Chase of all time and have selfishly left them out of it 😂

If the OH yawns or sneezes, Mitch leaves the room.

Recently, they’ve both decided they don’t like the noise of food being fried. Yesterday, they both went to lie under the bench outside when the frying pan was put on the hob, gas not even lit.

Ah I have a Ziggy too.

Opening the drawer where the scissors are kept as I may want to cut out a clump of burrs. Brushing any part of him which has a burr stuck.
Forgetting a walkie biscuit when we get back home.
Bringing a suitcase downstairs.
Not going to agility on a Tuesday evening becuase it's cancelled. He's ready and waiting at 6.20 without fail.
Not sharing my food. He's not bothered when he gets his.

Tell her it's bedtime at like 11pm so she has to come back inside, OH informed me today he hadn't gone to bed till 2am as she hadn't wanted to come in lol

Yes, the most useless thing, never used, given away 🤣

Not the dog, the paddling pool 😂
Yep, I bought one for my GSD. I thought he would love it as he loved to cool off in a stream or puddle. No, apparently it is not to be trusted under any circumstances. Direct refusal accompanied by deeply pained look at human torturer.

Ours also hates sport on the tv. But the low battery fire alarm noise meant he had to come upstairs and sleep along our pillows, thus behind us so we were nearer the door 🤣🤣🤣.

Loki my Weimaraner absolutely detests getting wet on walks:

I took him out a few days ago where we were caught in an unexpected heavy downpour of rain. The look of pure disgust that I got was so comical I was screeching like hyena on the way home with him. He'll slow down to an absolute snail pace and attempt to lie down - which totally defeats the purpose of not getting wet as you naturally get even wetter slowing down (yes I've tried explaining this to him but apparently his pretty little brain does not comprehend this!). I got through the door with him, both of us absolutely drenched to the skin. My Mum looks up from her computer and asks what happened (she didn't hear the rain as was watching a training video with headphones in) - Loki proceeds to howl the place down like he's being murdered! I'm sat on the floor in absolute hysterics, Loki is howling like he's auditioning as an extra in a tv soap drama and poor Sid who is my Mum's dog, is trying to bury his head under the nearest cushion so he can go back to sleep 🤣🤣.

Yet when I bath Loki, he absolutely loves it - hot or cold water - he's down for having a bath 110% and will actually refuse to leave the bath tub to the extent I physically have to remove him from said bath 🫠🙄

Get the ironing board out.
And by extension, opening the cupboard under the stairs where said ironing board lives. Which cases much internal conflict as that's also where the box of assorted stinky dead animals bits also known as dog chews live.

Suitcases being packed are definitely a bad thing in my boy's eyes until they know they are included in any trip. Daring to move in bed once they are settled for the night even if it means us being contorted into the most uncomfortable shapes imaginable - they should never be disturbed in any way whatsoever.

Today, go to work and leave him with OH.

He hurt himself this morning running into a door, I checked him over then left for work.

I'm getting the cold shoulder now I'm home.
