I bought this bit on ebay last week. Tried it on my mare who is in a 5 inch straightbar happy mouth loose-ring snaffle but it was too small despite being the same size as her existing bit:
It was sold as a Sprenger Duo Fulmer / Full Cheek Snaffle.
I have spent the evening looking online to try and find somewhere who sells these new so I could buy a bigger size and get an idea of how much to sell this one for.
I have however hit a brick wall trying to find one new, closest I have got is a D ring Sprenger Duo. And all the ones I can find have a white mouthpiece.
The bit is marked HS Duo so I have no reason to think it's not a Sprenger Duo. The full cheeks however are a bit strange and the tips curve inwards / outwards (depending on which way you have the bit). The loops are also IMO smaller than a "normal" full cheek snaffle which makes the mouthpiece look wider than it is...
Does anyone know what bit this is? And where I can get another one?!?
