Sorry, it wouldn't let me rotate it!

One of mine have just come back off a 'disaster' loan (to put it mildly!) and i've found two lumps which i'm really worried about. They are both on each hind leg in the inside. Hopefully my picture might help.

Thank you.

ETS - sorry my pic is huge!! Not sure how to re-size!

would get vet to have a look - as its on a joint especially, - mine has hock spavins but i dont have lumps as such. Is it hard or soft?

Daisy had one of these on her hind leg in exactly the same place, i was to;d is was a bog spavin. She was sound on it, i think it is caused by a previous injury, but if you have never noticed it there before then i could be totally wrong.

bog spavin usually soft - if its hard may be some sort of arthritic changes poss - def worth asking vets opinion even if only a phone call - i am assuming she is sound? - she doesnt have any sort of snatching action with her hind legs does she - when she trots? mine had that and vet xrayed said djd in hock (bone spavin) - but like i say she doesnt have bony lumps.

She is sound, she doesn't mind me touching them at all, they are not hot either. They are both hard lumps, she does have a fluid small lump underneath one of them.

She didn't have them when she went out on loan and has now come back with them! She was travelled back home by loanee with no travel boots on so i don't know if she has knocked herself? but surely they'd be soft?

:(

if was a knock then i would think soft - as inflammation - if hard can only be bone, or something that has gone hard over time. Would ring your vet or take piccie in and ask them. If she hasnt got an odd gait and is perfectly sound then wouldnt think much to worry over. but as its a joint worth just asking them the question.
