hopefully thats worked

an ideas.

it hasnt broken the skin and it not really bothering her unless i touch it but then she hates vets and being fiddled with so unless i hug her and check it i cant just go poking it. right im gonna shush and hope u help xx

thank u

It just looks like a scrape to me. I've given up wondering where mine find to do this sort of thing to themselves. I would just keep an eye on it and providing it doesn't get infected or any bigger I wouldn't worry.

I'd be inclined to think it was a scape too, poss from of her feet having a itch or getting a fly?

I'd not worry too much it looks nice, pink and healthy. I'd pop some cream on it though.

im glad noone is thinking ring worm and it has got a bit better today and shes had some sudocream on it. which involved me trying to avoid flying back legs. she is a bit touchy about her belly

The only thing I am thinking is the skin looks very red / pink. Could it be an irritant??
where abouts is this ?
Is it near a cross over strap?
is is a reaction to a plant when she/ he lying down
or is the bedding think so urine irritant?
Flies can irritate bald areas i would keep creme on

What they can do ( horses) if they are itchy in that area is lie down on brisket and use the knuckle / fetlock of the hind leg to rub their bellies. does look funny when they do it, my mare rocks back and forward

where abouts is this ? its middle. about 8 to 10 inches behind the girth and about 2 or 3 inches to the left of the middle (her left).
Is it near a cross over strap? she isnt rugged yet
is is a reaction to a plant when she/ he lying down. could be but im pritty sure there isnt anything bad in her field
or is the bedding think so urine irritant? she is out 24/7

she does has very pink skin anyway but ill admit its pinker then normal

thanks for all the helpfulness. i have been treating for ringwarm and just for general health. keeping it clean. disinfecting it and putting some cream my mum got me on it.

it had got a much healthier colour to it today and looks like its getting smaller. im inclined to think she kicked herself and she front hooves reach just to there and i noticed her kicking to about there today on the other side at flies.

anyway thanks :)
