What is wrong with people.... especially those on facebook!

I saw one this morning, 4 yr old coloured cob, used as a broodmare, now backed, want £1000!
And then at the opposite end was a bombproof LR pony for £300
Do people just pluck a number out of the air?
A friend had been given permission to clear out her boss's rug store and sell them and donate money to charity. The rugs were the jute and canvas sort, patched up, but all clean and working abd cheap. I saw someone ask if she had any Amigo turnouts (or something similar)

Sometimes I think I should stay away from Facebook because people annoy the hell out of me! :D
 
My favourite was a girl on a local page who was advertising wanting a horse, basically a good RC all rounder under 10. IMO worth between £5-8,000...her budget £200 or free to good home. Of course I snorted with laughter & thought she was delusional BUT she must've got a horse because the next week she was back asking for cheap as possible/free tack & rugs!
 
I saw one last night for a children's pony, vice and aliment free, gelding to swap for a Shetland mare with health issues and other issues but can not be turned out with anything too big. That to me sounds completely gaga
 
what i find worrying is how people advise someone saying thier horse rears to use a chifney/stallion chain/chains round nose without knowing that persons level of experience. Its mind blowing at times :(
 
I got removed from a group for telling an 18.5st lady she was a bit heavy to be riding her 14hh pony. Sorry but she was.... Why other people defended her is beyond me?
