What is wrong with these people!

There is a horse at the yard who is not established in trot or canter.. But today was being 'taught' how to do flying changes.
As the 'lesson' went on, the horse got progressivly more aggitated, Unbalence and paniced.

What is wrong with people? Why teach a horse to do a flying change when it cant canter is a straight bloody line!

Oh poor thing, that's really sad. It'll end up getting told off eventually for 'misbehaving' when it just can't cope with what it's being asked to do.

because some people like to make themselves look good rather than spend time teaching their horses properly and building on the foundations properly. Then people wonder why there are so many problem horses out there

I definitely agree with that. It's plain idioacy. Think the main thing that annoys me is they horse gets the blame and is punished cos he/she doesn't understand or is not balanced enough to be able to cope with more complex moves.

If only this was unusual! Just someone else looking for a quick fix so the horse can do something 'flashy' instead of spending lots of time teaching it the basics in the first place.

buy yes I agree too many people want to rush a horses training.

Too many ingredients will spoil the cake.

Lol.. it gets better.. Today shes tried to get the horse to do 'counter canter'.. Completely disunited..

Horse is veyr confused..
