What is wrong with these photos?

Her stirrups are very short and the saddle seems to tip right back but it could be the way the horse is stood.

For a start that saddle is so badly fitting, way too narrow which is tilting her backwards that I'm surprised that poor horse hasn't bucked her off onto her hatless head!
Plus she has an unhealthy animal print obsession....

Two obvious things 1) the saddle does not fit it is very low at the cantle so rider is sitting too far back.
2) Her stirrups are really short, this would not look so bad if not for the above.

IMO stirrups way to short for type of saddle which does not appear on a quick glance to fit.And she has no wieght going down though the leg to the stirrup so her heel is very up she crouched forward with her upper body and if something unexpected happened she would not be in a effective position .

do you think if the stirrups were longer it would place her in the right part of the saddle, she seems to be sitting very far back, or do you think the saddle is too small for her?

The saddle is just wrong for the horse - Tree to narrow, thus tilting backwards rather than sitting square.

Saddle, stirrup length, leg position.

The woman looks quite scared and the horse has a headollar on.
Maybe on well behaved as they say.
Probably not actually backed!

As others have said above
Wellies are just a dangerous as no hat :(
Some people. Our yard has a strict, When mounted you MUST have a hat on. And we are a dressage yard :D

that poor horse, the saddle is far too narrow so pushing the rider right back and all the weight is pressed down onto one small area and probbaly pinching the horses shoulders, stirrups miles too short too. Suprised the horse is allowing this? why on earth people chuck such badly fitting saddles on to break horses in is beyond me, the most important time when a horse needs a good pain free experience is when people dont bother! idiots..

The saddle is tipping her into a backwards seat & stirrups too short unless she's jumping which isn't helping her at all. Result is she's sat too far back, so shoulder hip & heel out of line, tipping upper body to use her leg & to catch up with the movement, elbows not at sides and hands too low. And if we're being really fussy heels need to be down more so leg can be used for correct aids.

That saddle looks positively painful on that poor things back :( Saddle is a terrible fit and causing her to sit too far back - plus she looks miserable as sin - not a good advert at all

To me, it just looks like they put someone who'd never been on a horse before up there for the sake of the photos. She looks scared, her stirrups are madly short, toes pointed down, her bottom's far too far back, her body stiff and tipped forward. She just doesn't look like a rider at all.

It looks like a woman who's got on a pony and hasn't altered it from when her child last rode.
If she looks a bit worried maybe it could be a reason why there are no pics of the child riding it and the child has lost interest???

As previously mentioned the saddle is an awful fit hence putting her in that position. I cant see how she is actually riding the horse in that saddle poor thing!!! Its either too narrow or the horse is high withered hence it tipping back awfully, hope they get it sorted pronto

Horrendus saddle - clearly doesn't fit and is too high at the cantle causing it to tip back as well as being too narrow, it is also slipping over to one side. The rider has stirrups far too short - looks like she is going racing!!

i have no idea what you are all talking about??!! She looks perfect on that horse...
