What is your dream ride?

My dream ride would be on my horse and to ride some of the most scenic countryside in the UK, so it would probably be like a riding holiday type of thing, where you could stable up and ride round the areas for a few days before moving onto the next location.

I’d love to ride on the beach of course who wouldn’t but I think after I’d had a splash and a canter I’d be a bit…ok so what now, as I like the scenery to change as I’m riding through it, so I’m more of a rolling hills, dirt tracks, open fields and riding through forests kinda girl, if I had the choice I’d prefer to do the latter I think.

You must have some gorgeous rides in Yorkshire!

Not in my neck of the woods I'm afriad, although I'm sure there is some lovely riding country in other parts of Yorkshire, I live where there isn't a hill in sight, all very flat, no woods to ride through either, don't get me wrong the hacking is ok, but I'd really love to ride somewhere where you really enjoy the countryside and fresh air, have something interesting to look at....instead we have the beautiful power stations

But the novelty of this time of the year is....

We have stubble :D

I live quite near the beach and go a few times a year, but it's not that amazing for me. I get very dizzy if I take the horses into the water (something to do with the way the water moves I think) so never stay there very long or go in very deep as I'm always worried I'm going to come off ! Then we have a b****y good gallop which is great - it's really lovely to have a good blast and know that they're going to be tired and wanting to stop before you HAVE to stop and it's the only place round here that we can do that - but if we had miles of fields that allowed us to do the same I'd be just as happy!

My favourite ride is one we do on our annual riding holiday - a circular route which always helps, lots of long uphill stretches to allow for a good gallop, fantastic views and a good pub half way around.
