Haylage - love it when a new bale is opened can just stand and smell it for ages. Love most horsey smells though - always seem to smell nicer at the yard though than when you get home you just smell of sh*t !
Citronella fly repellent - reminds me of balmy summer evenings leading my horse out to pasture (hard to conjure up the image right now looking outside!).
This is going to sound horrible, but i think the best smell is when i go eventing after the xc phase when they are all sweated up i think that is the best smell ever, or maybe its just the relief after i have got off that i didn't die..

Nothing like the smell of a sweaty horse....thats a proper horse smell
Tackshops, takes me back to being a child when they were really magical places.
Am I the only one that hates the smell of flyspray? I make my own so that isn't the problem, its the association of riding a horse which is flapping her head around like a mad thing to get rid of them while they crawl into my eyes, nose and mouth. Yesterday was the first day of the year when I had to ride with a cloud of flies around my head and it was horrid. One even crawled down my top and under my body protector where I couldn't get at it to squash it. For some reason our area is really bad for flies, everyone comments on it when they come to the NFRC for shows
