Due to the fact I have the Head Cold from Hell and cant sleep the minute I lie flat I have had a few nights in the spare room.

I couldnt put my lenses in as they were in their Atomic Fizzyclean but I put the light on at 3 in the morning and had a poke around for something productive to read.

I bypassed HTML4 for Dummies and in my myopic state pulled out a copy of Mary Rose 'Training your own Horse'.

I must have bought this about 20 plus years ago and that was probably the last time I read it. I sat down with my nose pressed firmly against the pages and read a couple of chapters properly.

What a brilliant little book I am going to read a section at least once a week.

i keep 'the manual of horsemanship' in my bathroom!

The young riders handbook

This was bought for me after a lot of whinging 27 years ago!
It was my first horse book and I read it over and over and over again, it was my bible.
