I love horseware rugs, good fit, warm and they don't break/tear easily.
I also love Weatherbeeta which is what my filly wears ATM. Good price and no rug rubs even tho she's out 24/7 rugged up

Weatherbeeta Orican because they are great value & don't rub, also dry quite quickly.

FAL - same as above but more expensive & rip slightly more easily.

Out of the rugs that i have tried, i like the Weatherbeater orican, it doesn't move, has a nice depth, and is a good price.

Fal, they are the best but expensive. If money was no object they would all be Fals.

But in reality I buy Mark Todd, they fit the wide shouldered horses well, good quality, well made, not heavy.

Used to be FAL until I discovered Mark Todd rugs - really think they are great, nice and deep and fit lovely

My favourite brands depend on the purpose of the rug!

Stable rugs - Masta. Would not buy anything else; I've had Mastas now for the past 10 years, and I love them to bits. Not so keen on their turnouts though...

Turnout - Mark Todd. I have a medium weight full neck MT - cost £50 - which is untouchable for quality, even by my much-loved elderly Rambo (which come a close second best!)

Woollen day rugs - Kingshead. Stunning quality

And I have yet to find the perfect summer sheet....but normally end up with a Jumpers one!

i have some heavyweight ones that are about 11 years old now (possibly older, can't remember exactly when i bought them) which the horses live out in 24/7 all winter, and they never rub, never get wet through, keep them toasty. can't rate them highly enough, the work they save me is unbelievable.

Mark Todd all round. Great fit and hard wearing.

Used to like that Slumberdown brand for value but I don't think they're around any more.

Fal all the way - and although expensive to buy initially last far far longer than any other make so work out cheaper in the long run. If you buy the expensive ones they are virtually indestructable. I have had some for over 8 years and they are still almost perfect.
