So does endomondo track your distance & speed & log different speeds or do you start it before you gallop?
I have noticed that when you drive through those electronic speed recording signs like this:
https://www.eta.co.uk/2009/12/22/diy-traffic-calming-council-sells-road-signs-to-slow-speeding-cars/
That the speed recorded on the sign is generally about 3mph slower than the speedometer on the car. Not directly relevant to the assessment of the app, but it does reinforce the point that speed measuring devices are rarely that accurate.
He sounds quick enough Tims Girl! I guess 37mph for an ex racehorse flat out is not out of the ballpark.
But whoever said their 13.2 pony could reach 45 mph is in cloud cuckoo land!
Just out of interest, where on the RP database can you find a horse's highest speed clocked?
Cheers
I just looked up frankel on rp and it said 138 so dont think it is mph. Might be kph though frankel is my horses nephew.
Top speed is in column
According to racing post my horses (ex flat horse) top recorded speed was 80 KPH.
That's around 49 MPH. I have always said he's fast, he was un real up the gallops but that seems EXTEMELY fast!
Just looked at clava's link, must download it & try it on hack later.
I'm sorry but there is absolutely NO way that a horse has clocked 57mph!
Have you done a timed run over a set distance to check whether that app is correct? No point relying on something that is not very accurate.
You are quite right this is all just a bit of fun Ffion Winnie and I do apologise if I came across in a less than friendly manner.
I just thought it was funny that people were claiming their 13.2 pony was faster than Frankel!
I am still a little skeptical about that AQH record, and the internet seems to have a few different answers.
I don't know how fast my pony is - can you calculate it by how many flies are splatted on your teeth??)
