Is she a bit quirky by any chance. Mine is and I've heard that's typical of General Gambul offspring but maybe its just him. Nothing nasty just a bit opinionated!

Very opnionated!!! Lol! But also has a lovely temperment, she is also a pretty good jumpe and has lovely paces. Is yours full TB?

1/2 TB 1/4 irish draught and 1/4 welsh D. Have you got any piccies?

I think he is quite a popular sire, especially in the south west (Spring is originally from Gloucestershire)

I've got some recent ones on my camera - will download them and post them soon and we can compare. See if there's a family resemblance. Looking at your picture, their colouring looks similar - mine is dark brown, almost black but with a long star rather than a blaze.
Boo was bred in Somerset which I think is where General Gambul stands. I know someone who bred a foal by him a few years ago and there are a few of his offspring around here (I'm in Wiltshire) so I think he is quite popular in this area.

Yeah that would be really interesting.
Spring is jet black with 4 white socks. I have the covering certifcate for Spring's dam and she was sent to General Gambul somewhere in Somerset. I haven't seen any pictures of him though, have you?

Boo has 4 white socks too. I haven't seen any pictures but I might be able to track some down or at least get some more info about him. I think my instructor has had some dealings with him.
I'll see what I can find out and pm you if I can get some more info.

My old horse (RIP) was Socks Appeal - I was drunk with some horsey friends when we came up with that one.

My new one is Ireland's Call (Molly) as I bought her in Ireland. I seem to have become more sensible as I have got older;-)
