What jobs do we all have?

I'm a riding instructor, teaching children with special needs and disabilities. Extremely rewarding job, but not something I thought I would end up doing. So glad I have!
 
I work with horses... I teach, school, and am currently finishing off the summer backing some youngsters and bringing hunters in to work for the people I did last season with.
Then on September 25th I officially open my own yard, with 8 full or part livery spaces, riding school incorporating RDA and training horses for RDA work.

I have no money, but I'm so happy, and I spend all day with my horses and my dogs!

Tell me about it! I keep telling my collegues I am going to write a book called "It shouldnt happen to a vets receptionist" lol
 
I work part time as an assistant groom for a stud that breeds Trakehners. plus teach and do some book keeping on the side. I had 30 years in corporate business doing finance and allthough well paid would never go back into an office. I am old girl now but have never been fitter or happier in my working life.

p.s I do have a gem of a husband who heavily subsidises me financially which does enable to do the above job, so I guess I'm lucky.
 
Part time job looking for a millionaire to marry but otherwise I'm a Office manager for an events company. Pays really well so I can afford the horses but long hours during certain months which mucks things up a bit! Have worked with horses in the past but it just doesn't pay and I got sick of making other peoples horses go nicely and not having time for my own!
 
I work for a publishing company that produces 6 of the UK's most loved regional equestrian free monthly magazines and i love it! Get to talk horses all day and ride my bunch as well. I work from home and deal with all the national clients, organise features, write articles and deal with the development of the magazines. Have done it for 5 years and have enjoyed every minute.

no... i work at a stables on saturday and cooking for shooters *nice when they're rich good looking guys ;) * (grouse) every friday in august/sept/oct time.
But otherwise i'm a student :D
 
im at college at the moment but have a part time job as a cleaner. but i want to be a riding instructor when im older and if you are a good one you can earn quite a bit of money from it. my yard manager at duchy charges about £40 an hour and is quite popular.
 
Long haul air stewardess. Sounds glam, but am so sick of it!! Not been home for Xmas for the last six years, and I miss so many competitions too! Hoping to leave in the next 12 months and do B&B, few liveries, freelance grooming and teaching etc. (I was a BHSAI in a previous life!) Will be less money, but hopefully a better quality of life, and less work for my husband whio has to run a business, look after 4 horses, and do school runs when I'm away!

Procurement and Business Change Consultant (I put caps, it looks grander that way lol). Own our company. Lots of variety - worked for all sorts of organizations over the years :D

Used to be a stay at home mum, but decided to go back to 'work' four years ago. Started the company. It's well paid, but we tend to take on work when it's there - three years with no breaks at all, then last year I had six months off. Lovely, but limiting on the cashflow front :o :D.

We're looking at other revenue streams. We're designing (test stage) new websites... There's a good one that y'all love, but I can't advertise it on here :D :D :D. We're also developing some contract and supplier management software, that we hope to retire on (fingers crossed!) :D:cool::rolleyes::D:D:D
 
PT Child psychiatrist, specialising in Autism and Hearing impairment and PT lecturer at a University doing the same.
 
I'm a PA, which is boring I guess, though I like it. My bosses are very interesting, one is an experimental physicist and one is an astrophysicist, but right now we are all working for the government so not doing science so much as trying to convince government science is worth doing, them because they care, me because i want to save my own miserable hide.
 
I'm a commercial finance broker. Own my own company and love it. Have helped riding schools, livery yards and farmers with their funding.
 
I own a tack shop in Norway, I started alone but now hubby and I both work full time at the shop. Most of the sales come via our website, in Norway most buy online rather than popping in to the loacal tack shop. We import product from all over the world, it is always fun sourcing new products and suppliers.

Fun having the shop on the farm, allowing me to run to the stables whenever I feel like it :D
 
Was an interior designer, but the country's 'financial crisis' put an end to that! Now i work at the livery yard where Jay is so I get to see far too much of him!

Such a shame he's retired as they are building new arenas etc! New horse ahoy (I hope)
 
I gave up work to become a full time Mummy purely because the cost of child care in my area is ridiculous! I love being able to see my Daughter grow up and wouldnt have things any other way but do miss the routine of work and also the socialisation side of things. I sometimes feel very isolated at home.

Before I left work I was an adminstrator for a Building Services company. I loved my job, it was well varied and highly pressurising which I thrived on.
 
Im in between jobs but currently work for a cafe/serve in a burger bar for the summer. Im qualified in admin and have years of experience in it but at the moment there are very few jobs. Still current job is paying for new horsey so its not all bad.
 
I'm a property manager. Just started with a country (as opposed to a city) firm who are turning out rather well as they've already agreed to sponsor a class at my local BE event ;)

I have often wondered why I didn't get into teaching (non horsey, I mean kids not that I like children...), I'd love to have the summer off like they do!
