what jumping saddle

Hi I have the saddler coming out next friday for a new (to me) jumping saddle. What make/model would you recommend?
Horse is 15.3/16hh trak x very fine and still growing as not quite 5 yet. I want something to help me as he is very bouncy and jumps everything like he's going round a 1.30 track (we haven't the heart to tell him he's doing BN and Disc), he goes about 8 foot in the air over a 1 foot x pole

I would love a jaguar cc but pennies won't go that far!
 
I have a prestige - the £850 ish one, great saddle and can be altered so can always be changed, though has to be sent away.
 
Depends alot on your conformation (lol!) his conformation, whether you like big blocks, small blocks, deep seat etc etc... Jags are lovely but notoriously tight through the shoulders and not THAT comfy tbh!! Love love love Pessoas, but they dont fit many horses, and the older ones cannot be beaten!! I have a Ideal springbok, which I had never really thought about until i tried it, and loved it. So it really is difficult !!

whatever saddle there are also sticky saddle sprays which glue you to the saddle!! worth investing in for a big jumper!
 
The ideal saddles that I have sat in where lovely although not jumping ones. I'll have to try the glue need all the help I can get!!
 
They're not as "fashionable" as some, but the springbok is monoflap and is lovely and close contact, whilst being more "traditional" so nicer for the horses backs and also more adjustable with flocking than other Close contact jump saddles with latex panels

I've just been looking at their website, the springbok looks good. Do they hold there price? With him being young he's bound to change shape!
 
Classic Saddlery - I have never had another to match this one. It is the nicest saddle I've ever had the pleasure of sitting in - it just holds you. And although there dont seem to be many of them about, the amount of people who have complimented mine is quite shocking!

The good thing with the Ideal saddles is they are wool flocked which means there is large scope for adjustment

SO aslong as you get the correct tree width (it isnt generally something that changes hugely) you can have it flocked and adjusted as he changes

Thats why I brought my 6yr old one so I have the scope to play around with the fitting if need be

I personally can not recommend the Patriot by Stirlingshire Saddlery enough, they are designed for TB types, so you shouldn't have a fitting issue, plus you can adjust the tree up to twice should your chap change shape. They are awesome!!

as for stickability, mine has suede seat and panels and it is the stickiest most secure js I have EVER sat on!. xx

I second the Albion - my sister got a 2nd hand one for her new horse a couple of yars back. It fits great and now I want one for mine seeing as once her horse was being a bit of a wally and took a dislike to a practice fence SJing one day and slammed his brakes on at the fence (for no apparent reason either!), I did not move and no contact with the floor was made! I though "ooh, interesting!". Felt v v secure in it.

We took horse to the physio - just for general pre-season ceheck really - last year, took saddle along to show him too and his comment was "Ah, Albion saddle, brilliant they fit everything!". He also does a fair bit of eventing so if it's good enough for an eventing physio it's good enough for me!
 
Albion saddles dont fit everything unfortunately!!

They are good saddles if you like deeper seated bigger blocked saddles
