Just wondering really, Is your horsey/pony, Naughty or well-behaved, Mare, Gelding or Stallion, What colour? How big? Any quirks? Random question I know but?! I'll get it started:
Mostly Well-behaved, Mare, Flea-bitten grey, 13.3 hh, Not many quirks but sometimes she gets slight seperation anxiety at shows ;) Your turn! :p

15 hands Appaloosa x Cob gelding, he is well behaved most of the time but has his cheeky moments! ;) He likes to buck when he's excited! He has too many quirks to mention tbh but that's what makes him my horse of a lifetime! :D

15.3 coloured ISH, can be sharp and spooky one minute and lazy the next - he definitely keeps you on your toes! Apart from that though he is a good boy.

14 hands Irish mare, is quite spooky but is only a baby and is doing really well for her age.

11 hands Welsh Mountain Rescue pony, she is retired and has her funny little habits but she is a good girl and like a Grandma to the rest of them!

15.2hh Welsh Cob Gelding. Will be 11 in May but don't tell him that ;) Colour is of some debate, black in winter, brown body with black points in summer. Far too good a do-er, hasn't done much, never seems to hang on to a loaner for more than 6 months :o Pretty green, pretty stiff, will refuse jumps then drag you to them, spooks and can get over excited whilst being ridden on his own but never fails to make you smile!

16.2 chestnut kwpn - grumpy when he doesn't get his own way (usually when it comes to rugging up) but is an absolute star when jumping and saves me when i mess up striding into combinations.

16.1 bay kwpn - so laid back he would go backwards if he could and he loves playing with the stable cat

14.3 bay TB x cob (mostly TB) mare. Sharp, spooky, scared of hedges and the quirkiest horse I have come across they are too numerous to list them all but current favourite is kicking the wall when I walk past her whilst mucking out, doing her hay etc... seems to be some kind of attention seeking. That said she is a very talented girl loves her jumping and tries her heart out and for some reason I adore her :)

13.2, 9 yo mare, rescue pony, welsh D X Exmoor, bay, can be spooky and is always full of beans, she is very loving and has a funny personality.

14.2, 2yo, gelding, apoloosa, bay leaopard spot, very cheeky and always thinks hes top dog, kicks out when being fed or eating but a lovely boy. (my sisters horse).

13.3, 11 month old colt, black, also very cheeky and inquisitive, very laid back and friendly.

16.2, 19 yo mare, thoroughbred, (mother of the colt) black, also very laid back, kind and gentle, but can be grumpy and doesnt really like affection!!

16.2hh 8yo bay KWPN gelding. Scared of anything bigger than a van, leaves, and puddles. In one year of owning him hes got BE FP's, BS winnings and BD points. Needless to say I love him very much!

2yo ISH grey filly, currently 14.2hh. Was a twin who survived against the odds so holds a very special place in my heart :) Very spoilt and naughty, currently learning what manners are!

16hh 17yo bay TB mare. Absolute saint, have owned her for 12 years and done absolutely everything on her from PC dressage to Novice BE :) perfectly behaved in every way (I'm not at ALL biased!!)

Horse 16 1/2hh Chestnut TB rising 6 Gelding with a pretty White blaze :)
Well behaved and fairly straightforward
Only quirks are 1. He likes to chew other horses rugs in the field! 2. Will occasionally try and jump in the air if really excited or suddenly spooked but only does it once and keeps his head up so he doesn't unseat me ;)
That's it!! Very good for a young blood horse, I'm lucky :)

16.1, chestnut thoroughbred, gelding, 5 years old.

He's mostly well behaved, he's very green but takes everything in his stride, we have the occasional argument but in the main he's super. His biggest quirk is when he's put in a situation he finds difficult or strange he hangs his tongue out of his mouth and shakes his head around.

Your horse sounds (and looks!) so much like my boy. When is yours 6?

The best kind :) Vinnie horse, he is rising 3yrs 15.2hh currently. Knabstrupper x TB leopard spotted. He has a bit of magic about him, gives me the feeling he'd try anything for me. We've been through a lot, he broke his jaw in Jan and he had to travel far to get it wired back together but its healing well now. he's helped me through my mum having cancer and my dad having a stroke, a break up, work problems. He gives me a reason when there is nothing else and i honestly dont know how i'd manage without my little spotty horse. We are going to have so much fun once he's ridden..x

15hh irish skewbald cob aged 22 very safe but can be strong, she is a get me ride me put me away type of girl not the cuddly sort. Can actually throw dirty looks at you if you dare to cuddle her, although would never hurt you physically.

33in palomino shetland aged 14, has not woke up since I have had him. He is the most quietest pony I have owned. You could take is companion away and leave the gate open he would go out. Has cushings and is blind in one eye from previous neglect, real sweetie.

14.1hh NF gelding aged 4, as yet is only lightly backed due to my lack of time, real poser look at me type. Loves learning new things, although has to do things a few times before he gets the hang of it. If he was a human he would be a boy racer without the big engine.

7 month old cobxappy filly daughter of above mare, should make around 15.2hh. Get the feeling she will be very like her mother in temprement. Like her dam she likes to be around me as long as I dont overly cuddle her, learnt to have her feet picked out at 3 weeks I touch the leg I want and she lifts it ready for me. Not sure how spotty she will be but at the moment she is a chestnut with snowflake patterns, although some signs of roaning will happen as she ages.

14/14.1hh, mare, Dun, connie x. She is usually well behaved but can be quite naughty when she wants to be! She is very mareish and will always try to escape the stable when you open the door if she has no haylege left... :p

14.1hh, nearly 22 yo chestnut riding pony, have know him since he was 4. Is very well know for bucking and being very strong. Hates cuddles as well.
He is such a star though, i love him to bits

A 15.1hh bay tb 3y/o filly who's dainty with a heck of a turn of foot on her, shame she never bothered to put this into action whilst on the track! Absolute sweetie of a baby

A 16.3hh chesnut irish gelding who has many-an-issue. Too many quirks and generally a pain to do, cold backed etc. with a hell of a temper, but theres a side to him which has promise, just an art of working with him!

Another 16.3hh tb bay gelding ex.pointer, complete schoolmaster pointing who has no idea how to socialise with others, but a complete darling to do otherwise.

And on the end a 14.2hh welsh sec D mare, who's a typical welshie really!

Fany is an Ardennes (Trait Ardennais) 15 yo, bay pangere and is a hack. She is about as bombproof as any horse can be. She is the kindest, sweetest natured mare. Loves babies, human and horse.

Captain is a KWPN he is a chestnut and is 17yo in May. He is a dressage horse. Loves pampering and cuddles on his terms.Very quirky with a few issues, hates hacking out and loves schooling.

Quin - 16hh fleabitten Andalusian with dark grey mane and tail. Lovely paces but the oddest horse I've ever owned. He's very 'talkative' when being ridden, makes strange noises and is prone to some stinking moods! Love him to bits though!

Jazz - 14hh NF dark bay - now just a pet due to arthritus although he still thinks he can bomb about and would love to hack out and gallop round the fields if only he werent a very naughty cheeky tank of a pony! We've been through so much together; broken leg, skin eating immune disease and he's still the happiest, most loving pony ever!

theoretically we also have a 16.3hh TB X (Maddie) and a Welsh sec D (Troy) who are both out on loan!

looking to expand my heard by one if anyone knows of anything 15'1" to 16'2" to bring on for BE?

16.2hh, rising 7, chestnut TB gelding with a pretty white blaze and one white sock.
Only had him 6 weeks, ex racer. very quiet in the school and works well but gets so excited out hacking. He comes over when i call him and grunts at me like a camel. (dont know if its a hello thing? haha)
He is adorable, doesnt really look like a TB. like a donkey on the ground but a bit more alert when ridden.
I am absolutely, head over heels, in love with him already :)

I have...

13hh 15yo chestnut gelding, excellent on a lead rein, excellent with a competent rider, if you are novicey but off the lead rein he will probably bronc you off :o

13.1hh 14yo bay mare, all looks and no brains, tries her heart out for you though :)

13.2hh 9yo chestnut mare, does what she says on the label, one day she can be vile, the next she can be outstanding, there is never a happy medium :o

32 inch 4yo mini Shettie mare, can escape through any type of fencing known to humankind :D

14.1hh 27yo dark bay mare, in her body she is an ageing pony, in her mind she is training for the champion hurdle

11hh 2yo chestnut filly, utterly delightful little pony :D

34 inch 19yo Shettie mare, mother of utterly delightful little pony and baby boy (see below) :)

35inch 7 month old gelding, my baby boy :D

7 Paints - mare, 3 colts, 2 geldings and a filly
3 QH's - 2 mares and a stallion
1 Quarab - filly
1 Arabian - mare
2 Morgans - mare and colt
1 miniature horse - gelding

...that I am going to admit to ;)

15.2hh rising 3 coloured sporthorse who is an absolute dream to own, laid back and so uncomplicated.

14.3hh dales.....quirky gelding, frightened of his own shadow, one day will jump a metre the next will refuse a pole on the ground, very grumpy unless being fed, bucks sometimes is balshy but i luv him

16.3hh sporthorse chestnut mare who is as honest as they come, jumps fab uncomplicated to ride but will nt carry head correct and has cost me a fortune in bits etc only to find out she rides in nothing .... hence the bitless route,

all lovely in their own way.

6 of them are in foal

Charlie - 16hh+ (bought him as an unbacked 3yo at 16hh, he's definately bigger now!) 4 year old Hano x KWPN gelding. Dark bay with no white, real dopey fella! Slow reactions!! I think he's a typical dumblood! But he's my baby and my future prospect, so I forgive him that! He's very pretty, a big mover, the tbs are a bit plain, and much as I love them, everyone always comments on Charles!

Benson - Oldish (18? roughly) 15.2hh thoroughbred gelding, light yellowy bay with a blaze, a bit sensitive but a sweet boy! Only does hacking and hunting these days, where he has impeccable manners.

Theo - Retired thoroughbred gelding, 14 years old, a sweetheart again, but was always mental to ride! So when he had to be retired after an injury in the field, I didn't mind all that much :p He likes his lazy life, him and Benson are inseperable.

I have a 16.2 dutchwarm blood Larry!! Beautiful head, long legsand a body to die for lol In his stable he is rude, arrogant and grumpy !! But you tack him up and he is a gent!! He would give a novice person grey hair but cause he knows when someone is scared of him he will take advantage of it!!!

But he is a gent to me!!

14 yr old tb pure character and the kindest horse goin!!

once had a IDxHolstein that stood outside the stable (they had access to the yard as the drinker was in the yard) he stood looking at me and the proceeded to pick up my hat by the strap swing it in the air for and moment then unceremoniously dunk in the drinker and throw it on the ground and gallop off squealing! A real character to say the least :D
