Im really annoying my horse because my knees and feet are really hurting me when i am riding resulting in my constantly fidgeting my horse even glares looks at me and glares asif to say.... what you doing up there? stoooop it.. now give me another carrot.
I dont know what I have done to my knee but if I put pressure on it it really starts to hurt on the lateral collateral tendon I think it is called (I had to look that up).

Will stretches and squats help? What else should I try?

thanks guys!

Sprenger bow balance stirrups are a big help.
I used a neoprene knee support for a while I found I had to use it on the outside of my breeches with a bigger chap on that side .

I know how you feel!
GP no help at all!

I use the sprung stirups with a sloping tread. Has helped. I also stretch my legs several times while riding and have even walked abit during rides to get the feeling back. Taking ibuprofen also helps.

Don't self diagnose! You don't have medical knowledge so get to your doctors for a proper diagnosis. You may find out you need physio or you may find you need more. Either way get seen by a professional.

I had knee problems & needed keyhole surgery to fix my knees. This did the trick, I limped into hospital & walked out afterwards fine. They said it treatment would last about 10 years, it lasted 11 years, now the problem is coming back, but I had a great 10 years.

I use mcdavid knee braces with metal hinge on outside on each leg as I have joint hypermobility syndrome and my joints have a habit of dislocating, brilliant for stabilising joints but they make you very hot in summer though :(
Eta---I wear them whilst riding.
