What labradors do in ditches

She looks like mine when an unsuspecting relative takes her for a walk in the field. There is a muddy stream running through the middle that she just loves to swim in, it also has the outflow from the sewage pumping station in it so the smell is just a bit ripe

I don't think it is sewage, it's a good four fields away from our septic tank outlet. Mind you it does stink! I hope it is just rotten leaves and the odd dead thing.

Pearl who is very old now was an expert bog snorkeller I ride in a local forest and take the dogs after rain the ditches at the edges of the track fill with water and she would swim along beside me or bog snorkel depending on the circumstance .
My lorry has or should I say had ivory leather seats .

I'm rather glad that my "gundog" is liquid averse!
