I am talking about yard maintance (can't spell!) such as mending fences (material provided), creosoting, building, repairing, harrowing fields or weed killing for example.
I am happy to do all the above, except creosoting as it is the one thing I am allergic to. No matter what overalls I wear, goggles and gloves, I come out in painful red sore rashes, and my eyes sting to high heaven at the mere though of the stuff! So, unless someone here can recommend me a way to protect myself, then I am banished from that job, and thus possibly not being able to get 'a livery discount'.
Your thoughts?

I know people who poo pick owners fields. Others who cover the owners duties, feeding turning out, briging in etc when she is away. Others do the tidying up jobs like grass verge cutting, tree pruning, jump painting, sign cleaning, menage track raking.

Ask yard owners and see what they say. They may be grateful of a helping hand in exchange for a few pounds off your bill.

i rent a field with no facilities to keep costs down. and she lives out 24/7
obv i do everything myself (*cough* long suffering husband *cough*) so the whole lot is only £333 per year :D
