what license do i need to pull horse traller

Hi, i am trying to find out what license i need to pull a horse trailer, as the goverment driving website is useless at explaining it and my friend thinks it costs over £400 to get it but i cant see it costing that much, any help would be really appreciated as i have a show booked for my youngsters on the 7th september and have bought the trailer already.....

Try this website with a professional driving instructor. www.topshamdrivertraining.co.uk The DSA Test cost £105 this makes driving lessons good value for money as the DSA do not supply the vehicle trailer fuel or insurance.

if you passed your test before 1997 you're fine and can tow a trailer no probs. if you passed after 1997 you need to take the B+E test. It'll cost you £105 for the test. You'd be daft to take it without some professional training and that cost about £250 a day. I'm happy towing and reversing mine but have a day's training booked next week before my test.
