Jimmy just had something about him. I hadn't gone to look at him & he certainly wasn't what I was looking for but once I met him I just couldn't get him out of my head. He wasn't a sensible buy but there's something about him that really gets to me & I can't see me ever selling him
Little Un I bought because due to a change in circumstances Jimmy urgently needed a companion & he seemed to have the qualities I needed - young (his lordship likes youngsters), calm & confident. Ironically when he's finally backed he'll probably be a far more suitable riding horse for me than Jimmy is but despite that I just don't have the same bond with him.
I saw her trot across the field, she belonged to another livery who just could not cope with her. I was not keen because she had no breeding/history, but when I saw her trot I changed my mind.
