Cross country schooling at Crown Farm on my exracer in prep for my 1st BE intro in June - I planned on doing training classes last year but he broke with a stress fracture on his NF Cannon bone before we actually competed - feeling us both growing in confidence the more we jumped the more i smiled - and then Clear round jumping on The Miester this evening and us doing a 3 Ft course and feeling a totally different horse that i have been struggling with over smaller obstacles - hoping against all hope its finally slowly coming together with both of them after all the hard work !! My 2 year old son being very happy even though he has Chicken pox so TBH I have had a wonderfull day !!
Absolutely nothing to do with horses, but as I am still suffering with a broken back I am having to sleep downstairs, apart from my OH. So I woke up with a big smile on my face to find my OH had come downstairs early for a cuddle before having to get up.
Taking my boy for his second ever solo hack and successfully encoutering a farmyard, the wigwams, the woods and pigs! Today he was a superstar, makes up for his slightly obnoxious behaviour yesterday!!
Big lad's leg (which he tried to pull off at the hoof) is less swollen, he's comfy on it as well. Ponio was (eventually) good in the school and jumped fab. Poorly guinea pig has appetite today - and watching Little Tiger's videos. That's an awesome little ponio Phoebe has there.
LauraWheeler - Herbie is a bay roan - no less than you should expect. They are all little devils.
