It was just getting dark and I have my new two year old in one hand and a midget in the other. Next thing I know my ankle goes over in a rut and I'm on the floor.... Bless my ponies, neither even pulled me they just stood and waited for me to get up. The midget was the right height for support while hobbling. Got in to the stable block (slowly...) and insisted on picking out the youngsters feet. Next thing, I come round hanging off his stable door with my livery holding me up talking to me. I'd passed out... Thank god she was there! I wouldn't be without my horses or my liveries!

 You've really hurt yourself!!!! RICE and see a doctor tomorrow. Ankle injuries can be a huge nuissance and take ages to heal (I suffered with mine for a whole summer!).

Thanks for your kind responses.... Husband made me a hot sweet cup of tea and I have had something to eat. I think the fainting could be due to lack of food today, was trying to be a domestic goddess and only had a pack of crisps all day. Praying it won't be too sore tomorrow as I have a lot to do xx

Second hospital - that needs x-rayed, just because you've been walking on it doesn't mean it's not broken and even if bone is intact sounds like a good amount of tendon/ligament damage which needs properly treated or you'll have bother for a very long time with that ankle.

Another for hospital, I got kicked this summer on my ankle/foot and fainted too lol, didn't think anything off it until two days later when dad insisted I went to the hospital, ended up having badly torn ligaments and tendons and very stupidly had been putting weight on it. Still not completely healed properly, please go to the hospital just in case:)
