I'm just wondering that this noseband is? It's like a grackle on the nose, but crosses under the chin.

Woe is trying to find a bridle that fits a horse who's too big for a cob and too small for a full! Grr. Good thing she's pretty haha!

Many thanks!

Hm, it's neither of those. The girl who I got her from said Figure 8 or cross under, but google isn't showing it when I type in those!

Here's the best I can do, it crosses under the chin in an X shape

Figure 8 is just a standard grakle. I can't think of anything that crossed under the chin.

Seeing that I would say incorrectly buckled grackle. Don't think my browsing of the inline tack shops (including weird and wonderful) has thrown up anything like that.

Looking up figure 8 cross under bridle just brings up normal grackles for me. Cross under bridle brings up bitless bridles.

I found a few photos of her racing, in the first she is in a Micklem, the second a grackle although they may have used something different at home, once they are out of training they often need a bit less so you will probably be fine whatever you use, the ex racehorse here does most of his exercise in a cavesson with a grackle for more fun things, he is very strong but has learnt to drop the bridle and not pull so much, the rider always has a neckstrap on to help keep her hands low and can pull on that to help slow down without using too much rein.

Hope the links work, there are a fair few photos once you start looking.

Oh wow! It's wonderful to see her racing :D How did you find them?

I might just use a flash or drop, she is quite fussy with her head, but isn't really strong.

I looked at where she had raced and found the photographer, the second one was in her last race at Chaddesley Corbett, the other came up by googling her trainers name and hers, if you scroll down on this link you will find several more.
