what oil?

for those who put oil in their neddys feeds what type of oil do you use?
buffs skin is quite dry and vet has reccommended putting her on some oil but not sure what one- soya oil, linseed oil?
what do you guys use?

I like Linseed Oil

I good plain veggie oil can work wonders - and cost effective too. Also soya oil is good as that's what some feed companies add into their feeds.

I agree. It is also anti-inflammatory, so if your horse has allergies or arthritis it is the best for these too. Some other oils are pro-inflammatory.

You can feed linseed as oil 3x week or as micronised seed everyday
