ok then people, lets do something about this. Is there anyoneo here in th dressage world or welfare world? hopefully they can contact the Danish authorities and have her investigated.

Twas me, the horrible woman is already the subject of an investigation, has been banned from keeping/training horses in Germany, hence why she is in Denmark now. The video is a news report of a cruelty investigation, I hope the Danish authorities throw the book at her. Alledgedly she pleaded 'mental state' in the German investigation and therefore avoided a jail sentence.

A hidden camera films the totaly terrified horse even being beaten with the butt of the whip. We show the footage to the editor in chief of a reputable equestrian magazine (Oldenburger Sportpferd Magazine). He is shocked.

Jan Toenjes: You don't understand "What is she doing there?" and the horse certainly doesn't understand it either! A senseless beating...I'm just lost for words!"

Newsreader: The former well known dressage rider hits her horse almost 500 times alone in this 30 minute training session, but when she is confronted with her actions she denies them

Reporter: "Why do you do this?"
Wels : "I don't do "this" at all!"
Reporter: "Why are you denying this?"
Wels : "I don't torture horses-why don't you go and have a look at the horses?"

But pictures speak a different language:

An animal protection worker leads the horses out of the boxes and they show evident signs of mistreatment. The pasterns are bleeding and their mouths show the scars of deep wounds-obviously the results of the brutal trainings methods. This is not the first time this athlete (trainer) has been accused of mistreatment of animals and is probably the reason she has now moved to Denmark . Animal protection organisations intend to forward this footage to the authorities so we never have to witness these images of tortured horses again.
 
from my limited knowledge of german, (:o) she appears to have no ill feeling or "knowledge" that she is abusing these horses

I couldn't get past 5 seconds either.

Images of suffering horses in ILPH or Brookes campaigns I can deal with but an animal suffering like this in the name of sport is just obscene. She deserves a jail sentence for this.

Unfortunately this sort of stuff makes people suspicious of how high-level performance horses are trained...
 
Oh my god, i actually feel sick. What an awful awful woman. Poeple like that really should have a taste of what they are inflicting on a defenceless animal.
 
I can't understand how the horse "tolerates" it so much. I see it bucking but wonder why it doesn't really let fly even if not going for the witch on the end of the lunge line but surely carting her and going on. I suppose this truely shows the level of trust and such that a horse puts in us, the owner. It must think that is what is right!

Such a shame she's not doing it to a horse that thinks like a human and doesn't stand for it and turns on her and doesn't stop until she feels pain and fear.
 
I would love to stripe that bitch with a whip as many times as she did to that poor poor horse, it's really upset me seeing that.

what a stupid f******* B****. I absolutely detest people who treat horses like that although i must say its one of the worse ones I've seen. Silly woman has obvioulsy lost the plot although why the hell is there a man just stood there watching her do that whilst she is lunging!? Poor thing had its head between its knees as well as a beating. I'd love to give her a taste of her own medicine
