What one thing .......

What is the one thing you have which you swear by that works and does what it says on the tin, if you get what i mean. That one thing that you always buy, the one thing you have had for years, that one thing you never let anyone borrow, that one thing ????

OK go for it .....

And just one thing, and cant be your horse

Allen and Page Light competition mix- perfect for ours! Exactly right combination of protein and doesnt make them fizzy!
Good question! x x x

My plaited reins. Hard to come by now, and they come at a price, especially seeing as I've had my last two pairs custom made how I like them, but I wouldnt be without them!

I've been racking my brain to think of the one thing/brand that I've stuck with over the years and I think it has to be Griffin Nuu-Med high wither numnah/saddle cloths

. I've had some of them for years and they still look good, wash well and fit beautifully

CANTER MANE & TAIL SPRAY!!

this stuff is great for luggy manes and tails! Its hidden in my tack room just so no one is tempted to use it! You have to be very special for me to let you use it LOL

My Shires HW T/O rug with neck - the only necked rug that doesn't rub and it wide enough in the shoulders and my Masta summer T/O - on it's 7th year and has never moved/rubbed and always dries quickly

NAF Mudguard. My chestnut girly had horrendous mudfever for years before we discovered it - vets visits, antibiotic injections, dermobion, the lot. Since using Mudguard, we've hardly seen a scab, even in the depths of winter. Would never take her off it now!

A bit dull, but my grooming kit box. It's actually a small, red, metal, lockable Halfords tool box and it's good as a seat, a lunch box, a very small picnic table, a mounting block/generic getting-up-higher stool, a valuables lockaway, a boot jack, a temporary bridle/half chaps container, a start/stop post, a first aid kit... oh, and for the grooming kit! It's nearly indestructible, hugely multifunctional and goes everywhere with me.

Blue Chip balancer, it made my Fell pony who had liver disease go from this:

to this in 3 months:

and makes my newfie mare look like this with minimum grooming after living out all winter:

Fantastic! I love it!

It also greatly reduces the lami risk too!

Rubber loose ring snaffle... (or my pink bridle

, hard choice)
Because Horsey is going very very well in it & i have good brakes!

My old Torsion treeless saddle - bought years ago when they were very first imported into the country by Raddery Equine. This saddle has been on loads of horses and I still use it on both my heavies. Lots of people have borrowed it to try riding "treeless" and it has converted quite a few of them.

Poly pads - couldnt be without them and they even do western ones which are huge and just brill....

Also just to add - carr and day and martin solid hoof oil is wonderful at growing back sweetiched hair!! Works wonders

Herb suppliment= Winter glow summer shine
My over the head lunging thing [my own invension]
'wheelie' strap, that i made for keeping me attached to saddle when horse is doing 'wheelies'

Oh and my groom!!!!
