Mum told me about this little dog, and I've just looked her up. It is an upsetting story, so be aware.

Little Hope has apparently bred a lot of litters - so to me, it sounds like she's a BYB or puppy farmer's chuck-out.

Please be aware that if you buy a dog from a pet shop, a BYB or collect it at a service station, you may be supporting people who do things like this.

Here's another, Scabies for Christmas, anyone?

Also
"People who have one or two bitches. They'll take two litters out of each bitch a year, put them on the market and get themselves the price of a holiday.
"They don't care about the dog, they only care about the profit."

(I save up work money to pay for my holidays, personally :))

For Pip to take on a non-lurcher breed, then the dog had to be a serious case. Rest assured Pip and her team will do everything for that poor dog.

I believe that she will, and that the dog is in the best place for her recovery:) However, someone let her get into that awful state in the first place, and what with the multiple litters, well that just shrieks breeding machine to me. And people wouldn't bother doing that if punters didn't buy the puppies. People see cute puppies and they never stop to think about how they came into the world.

I hope that Pip will put updates on Hope and her pups up as and when, because I would love to know how she gets on:)
