What rug is your horse in at the mo ???

I hate this time of year its so difficult to know how to rug!

I know each horse is different and feels the heat/cold differently but I just wondered generally what most of you have your horses in right now?

My boy is 26, but generally a pretty warm lad, he is just in a very lightweight t/o (WB landa lite) and I have just gone over to putting a fleece on at night, he was just in a summer sheet up till Monday night.

Murphy is in his LW and will hopefully be until the end of Oct depending on the weather..x

Bailey is in a lightweight T/O during the day and a lightweight poly at night- he is'nt clipped yet but does feel the cold!

None. I do put a lw t/o on if its bad during the day though, hes in at night. Hes a warm horse and was so itchy the other morning with a lightweight cooler on I decided to take it off. Much happier horse this morning.

Depends on the temp, but he has a LW and a MW sitting out. He is fully clipped though and stabled. U never know though one day to the next, the other week he was in the MW for most of it, but 2 days were soo hot that they were all out naked - even I was baking in the sun and there was no wind. As Beau goes almost black in winter he gets v hot v easily.

My horse was full clipped last weekend so is now in a 300g full neck combo.

Lightweight turn out and out 24/7. If the day is sunny then the YM will go and take the rug off for a few hours.

He seems quite a warm pony and I've just had his throat clipped, then when he comes in at the end of October he will have a chaser clip and wear a stable rug and a heavier weight turn out as the weather gets colder.

Beau has a 200g on. he doesnt have anything resembling a winter coat, and hasnt been coming in hot.

Lance is naked and will be until its freezing.

becky 24 yo arab is wearing a lightweight turnout cause she does feel the cold alot, i want to get her a new one tho cause hers is old and i'm feeling for some bright funky colors

espec since poppy new rugs just arrive a rasp and navy one from weatherbbeta and a purple and silver one from robinsons

R is fully clipped and in med/hard work. He's still out 24/7 in a MW (or a HW occasionally) at night, and a MW or LW in the day. He was naked the other day during the day, but that is exceptional.

G is naked as he's very fluffy. He has his LW on when it's pouring, but that's it for the moment...

Mine are all still naked! Unclipped, stabled at night. This is the longest they've ever gone without having a single rug on, but i just dont think they need them yet. Gonna leave it as long as possible.
