Mine is in a medium/heavy weight in the day, and a medium with neck + a lightweight sheet on top at night.
he was clipped 3 weeks ago, but his hair is very quickly coming back...

almost time for next one!

I clipped my anglo arab on sunday as he was getting very fluffy, he is now in a fleece combo in day with a medium weight polywarm over top at night (blanket clipped).

Haven't clipped my warmblood yet as he isn't terribly hairy! He is in a fleece or lightweight poly at night depending on how cold it is. Will probably clip him in next few weeks.

Toto was clipped a few weeks ago, he can only be clipped once a year due to sedation, but his fur is already growing back despite being rugged up to his eyeballs! At the moment he's in a thick medium weight with neck and with a fleece underneath during the day, and a cosy medium weight with neck and a fleece underneath at night. Ridden in a fleece exercise sheet if it's not too cold, or a Newmarket sheet if it's quite cold

Mine arnt clipped but they have no shelter at all in the field so they have no-fill turnouts on, and if they come in fleeces or l/w stables rugs

Spoilt ponies!

My old boy is in at night and out in the day. He wears a MW Turnout during the day, and either a MW or a LW stable rug (depending on how warm it is) at night. He is VERY hairy and fluffy and won't be being clipped as he is retired.

My little veteran Welsh pony is living out 24/7, and is wearing a MW Turnout rug. She is also unclipped.

My two younger boys are also in at night and out during the day. They are both still on their first clips (they were clipped about 2 weeks ago) They wear LW Turnout rugs during the day and LW stable rugs at night.

Hattie is clipped all year round but is on her 2nd clip with fine blades. She is clipped every 3 weeks as it grows so fast.
She has a full clip and lives out 24/7 so is usually in a 100g with neck rug during the day and a 220g with neck at night, unless it drops really cold, then she wears a 360g with neck.

Gypsy is on his 2nd clip. He has a chaser and only wears a rain sheet when it rains otherwise he is naked. He also lives out.

Inka is on her first clip. She has a chaser and wears a sweat rug over night at the moment or if it gets cold she wears a sheet underneath. She does have a 200g stable rug but I very much doubt it will get cold enough for her to need it unless I take more hair off. She is stabled.

Ditto. Is this our weather your forecasting or yours? Cause if its yours they're identical, which is strange!

ours are both full clipped. I did mick on fine blades about 2 weeks ago and he is sooo hairy. Both have been out in fly rugs today.. don't know what to put them in..

Seren is still in her lightweight. She will only be getting an apron clip, not done it yet, and with the weather as it is I will put her back in a lightweight as its currently mild. She will more than likely go rugless tomorrow as it is supposed to be dry for a few days now

I can't believe how much some horses are being rugged

I have a 3/4 tb with a thin winter coat, chaser clipped. The last couple of days he has been naked through the day and a lightweight overnight. In the colder/wetter weather we had over the last month he has never been in more than 200g rug, and even then it was only the odd day here and there.

It is, in general, very mild for this time of year. My heavier rugs are being saved for when they are really needed

Clip tomorrow!

At the mo - out in lightweight in day, in with fleece at night.

Tomorrow after clip - 180g turnout in day, light stable rug at night. Its still very mild here at the mo!

Genie has been clipped out, and will be clipped again in almost 2 weeks. She was done in September and until last night was out at night in a lightweight (ie rainsheet) or mediumweight turnout with no neck depending on the weather. Some days she has been out naked and come in warm. Now she's in at night it's currently a lightweight stable at night, and a lightweight or mediumweight depending on weather in the day.

My girl was full clipped nearly 5 weeks ago ( everything off legs mane and all ) she is in overnight since the weekend and is wearing a rain sheet in the day and a cotton sheet overnight. She is however getting fluffy and is more than ready for her 2nd clip, undecided what she will wear once clipped again at the moment it is so mild will probably just put a fleece on under her rain sheet in the day and her L/W stable rug overnight.

Hairy cob, who looks like he's part yetti is being clipped out on Saturday, he will then go out naked if weather stays as it is and it isn't wet, and wear a fleece at night. When it gets cold , below 9 during the day and below 0 over night, he'll wear a fleece or light turnout during the day and a lightweight with neck over night.

He is wearing nothing in the day, thermatex at night. he is in on box rest at the moment

not clipped. When he was out wore LW in all weathers.

Mine is not clipped and has a lightweight/med NZ in the day and then a polly warmer at night.
Some of the horses are fully clipped at the yard and they have got a fleece under a thick polly warmer.

My horse was so warm this morning. I clipped him yesterday, sort of adapted high chaser clip with no neck and put his 200g t/o on. Hes back in his LW today and was still a bit warm tonight. Felt bad rugging him but just couldnt leave him naked clipped, soft I know.
I cant believe some of you have heavyweights on, its like summer. My horse would melt

Clip No2 this week some point when my new clippers are delivered, medium weight full neck turnout during day, Meduim weight half neck with full neck under rug on at night, (Buzz is full clipped, ears, legs the lot)
