What brand of rug do you use on your andalusians please? Mine has a high wither and a big deep chest so rugs tend to rise up at the front and pull on his withers. Fal seem to fit well but are expensive. Horseware amigo's are too tight at the front and premier equine also lifts a bit at the front. Shires aren't too bad. How about weatherbeeta and masta, any good? I like rugs to be quite deep also. Thanks

I find weatherbeeta and masta are quite generous in size. My section D has deep chest and they fit ok. Although i had the one with the detachable neck last year and he rolled got mud in the zip and it broke. So don't rate them much.

I use Mark Todd and Fal on my warmblood, he is very broad on the chest and also has a very high wither. I find if you go up a size in Rambo they are ok too.

I find weatherbeeta a good fit for horses shaped as you describe - generous chest, nicely cut and deep in the body. masta don't always come up deep enough and I sometimes find the chest comes up too high so restricts movement when bending to eat...

I am also a WB fan. I have a Luso x, he has high withers but not a broad chest and they fit him great. I also used them on my last horse - a Welsh D who was the opposite (no withers & very broud chest) and they also fit him really well. The Tristar is fab (as are the Orican and Arions)!

Stay clear of FAL's, they are good for my Luso x but were way too tight on my Welsh D.
