I have very fine 4 1/2 tb who will shortly be coming back into work I had only ridden him 5 times when he injured himself.Ive had shires saddle fitted proff(changeable gullet) but realise hes going to change shape he has no topline and his weight is also improving. My old tb had cliff barnsby narrow med fit which also fitted my daughters tbx and I do like barnsby saddles.
What do you use on your tbs ?

I have a Farrington vsd, very comfortable and wide gullet which allows the horse to grow. I've not known a TB that is narrow with correct work

hes in med gullet now and is in poor condition from surgery although fine I feel he will chunk up with condition and good work. Thanks will look at farrington :)

I use a Solutions treeless on mine, in fact I've used it on the last three TBs I've owned which makes it pretty good value! It's brilliant because it can be adapted to fit meaning you don't have to fork out for a new saddle as the horse changes shape and muscles up. Good luck!

mine has two - his GP is a Kent & Masters high wither - fab as they're a nice leather, pretty cheap and are adjustable. His dressage is a Prestige Optimax, which fits him beautifully :)

Mine has a GFS genesis (full suede version) adjustable altered by the saddler to fit, have also used a lovely lovatt and ricketts too. OH has a K&M HW and that is lovely too although very heavy compared to mine!

I've a fine, very high withered TB and she's currently being ridden in a Thorowgood high wither GP saddle. It's extremely comfortable for me and very padded for her whilst still allowing her to move. It's also got a changeable gullet so once she's put on more condition we can widen it.

ETA: She also has no topline and is putting on condition every day (came to me in a very poor state). The saddler tried another saddle but it wasn't as padded or as good a fit for her. It's also quite light compared to other saddles.

Symonds saddles have fitted all three tbs I've had and they've all been different shapes to look at
