Hi

I have looked on the BD website for info but I can’t find what I’m looking for! I am going to enter a British dressage event for this week. My friend is riding my horse and plans to do elementary on him. He only has points at novice level. My friend however has competed and has 18 points at Inter 1 on a different horse.

What section elementary would I have to enter her in?

Thanks in advance :)

From what I understand, it depends on your rider and what group they are in, according to their winnings. Your rider should know whether she is classed at gold, silver or bronze. Obviously the horse has a level too but if he only has novice points he can go up to elementary. It should be your rider helping you with this.

You need to use the eligibility tables in the rule book. The elementary tables start on page 90. If you are in any doubt, phone the BD office - they are very helpful. Eligibility is not just about points, it's also about scores gained in championships. etc.
