Hello all, stuck inside as snow and blizzards. I've just been down to check my mare and she's thinking of starting to foal (surely not...). Anyway last year's foal ended up being called Donkey (it was really ugly) which changed to Honkey which stuck. Show name is OK though trouble is that my neighbours take exception to this and say I should be more thoughtful. Looking for stable and real name. Nothing jumping out at me for either.

Mare - Clovergale (by Clover Hill) common name Mouse
Stallion - Quirifino Quainton

By the way, last year's one (different mum and dad) turned out to be georgeous!

Great idea with the minnie and mickey - unfortunately she had two foals before she was mine and guess what they were called.. yes, Mickey and Minnie. Back to the drawing board! I think she's changed her mind so have a few days yet!

What about Drum or Drummer (taking into account your name) if its a boy. Also, could be likened to Dumb or Dummer if the need arose and foaly was a bit slow on the uptake. For a little girl, Gale? Spring Gale?

Sorry, am no good at these things x
