Bought a GP/jumping half wool numnah for horse from Premier Equine sale. Fits fine in front but isn't wide enough behind for saddle to sit on. Back of saddle sits on the collar and there is a big seam underneath which would rub on horse's back if I were to ride in it. Its as though its been designed to be used under a saddle with very narrow panels.

Saddle is a 17" jumping saddle so it should fit - bought full size. I know it was in the sale but seeing as it doesn't fit a 17" saddle can I send it back?

If my saddle were 18" then I'd perhaps understand but it should fit a 17" surely?

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 days to return so long as in complete as new unused condition. Simply email them and advise you're returning it as not suitable as you bought full size and the seam would rub with your 17" saddle, and make sure you have a certificate of posting or send back recorded, and they will refund you..you may find you get more for it on ebay if it was cheap though!

Have emailed them and made my point. I've not used it - its back in its packaging so will send it back as soon as I hear from them.

Thanks for advice. Fingers crossed. It may only be £18.94 that they owe me but if they sell lots of these numnah's and none of them fit then that's robbery of the daylight variety!!!
