What should I do now about a refund?

I ordered a bit online from Divoza at the start of August - when it hadn't arrived 2 weeks later, I cancelled the order and went to a shop and bought one as really needed it for competing. Website customer service was helpful and said no problem, they would issue a refund. 3 phone calls and 6 odd weeks later, they still haven't issued me a refund and I'm getting a bit tired of phoning and nagging without ever actually getting anywhere. They assure me that the refund is with 'accounts' but I haven't seen any sign of it...

What should I do about this? I can phone them again but frankly I'm fed up with this and they're difficult to get hold of. Is there some way I can put pressure on them to issue me a refund? It isn't that complicated (I used to work in retail), they just have to credit the card with the amount - it's the same process as debiting it, only they were mysteriously much faster to do that...

Any advice?

They shouldn't have debited your card in the first place - it should have waited til the order was ready to dispatch.

Phone them again, tell them you're reporting them to trading standards and to the equestrian press - make sure you do actually follow through on your threats - bet the refund appears as if by magic!
