Right in the usual HBII manner of thinking about things I have suitable confused myself for the best way forward with a saddle issue I am currently having .....
So any suggestions of any types, any answer will be considered, from a do this to a smack up the butt
.
Current saddle does not fit
, this has been looked at by my instructor and even I can see it doesnt fit. Mare is begining to pull faces when girthed up too. Other details available upon request ....
So WHAT do I do for the best .... ?
[1] Get a saddler to check it and confirm it doesnt fit - then fast forward to point [3] or [4].
[2] Get saddle to check it and what happens if they say it needs reflocking ... then months down the line I am back to square one? [I personally dont think this will work .. the saddle when girthed up can be pushed up from the back by about 1 to 2 inches
so it tips forward].
[3] DIY .... with assistance from knowledgable person ... get a Bates dressage with changeable headplate and see how that goes.
[4] Continue saving for a WOW .. in the vain hope I can find a good fitter ......... [with the view to get jumping flaps too]
[5] Other suggestions .....
HELP
Thanks
