Well, my yard im at is advertised as DIY livery. though there is a lady whom works up there and does things like check in feild bring in ect, if u ask her to.
For about a month now, ive been getting up there at 12/1pm to go muck out before i school, and seeing the hole yard of horses has been brung in.
One day my horse was bort in without my permission around 12pm i was told, given no hay and was left in there untill i got there at 4pm.
She's also charging me for bringing in when i havnt asked.
My boys are happy to stay out rain for shine, and i just havnt got a clue what to say to her!?
Help!
I was charged £120 pounds (for two horses) for turning out(wich is what i normally have done for me in the mornings anyway) and bringing in without my permission....

Well for starters, don't pay it.
Then just ask her straight out why they are all coming in, is it to save fields or etc? Ask her not to bring yours in (are they out together so would not be left alone?)

If you are worried about them not having hay leave a haynet filled spare.

Just ask her, don't let it go on or else she will think you don't mind.

i think that you need to have a quiet word- don't get angry just be polite- if the horses HAVE to come in then i wouldn't be paying it- if its YM's decision to bring them in to save fields or whatever then you shouldn't have to pay. you should only pay if you've asked for it to be done IMHO.

, yes theyre out together, and there happy to stay out by them selfs in the rain.
I spoke to the YO and she said they dont save the feilds.
and they come in early because she needs to work it around picking her son up..

but you don't want them brought in?! just make this crystal clear...and don't pay unless you;ve asked for it to be done!

I would just say 'I really appreacite your help with horses although I'd appreciate it if you didn't bring them in unless I ask, if you do, I'm sorry but I won't pay for the service'

She probably worries about leaving them out in rain or out on their own?
