What should I use on stomach ulcers?

I was wondering what everyone is using for stomach ulcers? I have a 6yo mare that isn't eating and her bowel movements are loose. I looked at Gastroguard, GastroMax3, and Ulcergard and wanted to know if anyone had a preference?

a friend of mine has a horse that suffers from ulsers and she was recomended charcoal to put in his feed because it soaks up the acid or something like that. but i would check it before using it
 
Have you had the horse scoped as that is the only proper way to diagnose ulcers? Your vet can then advise on treatment.
 
I agree with Sidney. In answer to your question - what would you use on stomach ulcers - Answer - the vet! How do you know it is stomach ulcers? DIY diagnosis & treatment is not a good idea. Get the horse scoped & take it from there.
