I am going to start looking for a new horse to buy soon and just wanted opinions on a realistic budget. I have owned cob types before but this time I'm being much more open about the type. I'm basically looking for a horse that is very good to hack alone and in company. I don't want anything strong to ride. I pretty much want a safe ride and it would be great if I could do some dressage because I do enjoy schooling. I'm not fussed about jumping and would consider an older horse. Just wanted some opinions on how much I should set aside for such a horsey? Thanks for reading.
