This is Liberty my 5yo tb mare. She is to make 16hh. We currentely do a fair bit of working hunter, however i want to do some pure showing too. I have been told she would be perfect for hack classes, however hack classes are not very common in n.ireland. So i was thinking more riding horse or lightweight hunter? Is she too light for lightweights? All advice welcome. photos included

I would think riding horse would be best at local level if like my local shows they don't do light weight hunters. I would think once she builds some more top line she should do well

In NI probs Riding horse (there are very few separate large/small RH classes), but she will need more muscle, topline and a bit more weight on her I think. For that you would also need a coloured browband, but otherwise same tack as for WH :)
I personally used a thinner noseband when I showed previous horse in RH but he had a very TB fine head which was raised slightly but depends on what suits your horse.
There are very very few hack classes in NI I agree!

She looks nice, if she moves freely she should do well once she has built up more :)
