My friend would like to show her horse this year but neither of us have shown before so have no clue what classes her horse might suit (if any!!) Its a 15.2hh mare (welsh x warmblood of some kind) she jumps ok and has nice paces. What classes would she suit? ive attached a video of her. Also what would she ware for showing or does it depend on the class she is in? thanks!

Small riding horse or small hunter. If the rider is 17, she can do intermediates as well. Small hunter and riding horse are tweed for rider. Plain bridle for small hunter and plain bridle with coloured browband for riding horse. Intermediates (assuming hunter type) would be the same turnout as for small hunter.

Intermediates is under 25's classes on 15.2hh (158cm)

If your still unsure riding clubs tend to put on showing clinics this time of year

yeah.

probably do small riding horse or Intermediate show riding typr (ISRT). She is similar to my horse he can do hunters but is a bit too floaty and not as workman like.

depends of the standard of shows. Local do hunters/riding horse and if you are doing well step up a level. But go watch some county level classes to get the idea what to wear etc.

Should get noticed with her face!!

For SRT you should wear blue jacket, coloured browband (choose a bright, match it to her, but not much white/silver she has enough already)
