What size did your foals make ?

i am putting my 16.1 tb mare into foal with a 16.2 warmblood, I was assuming the foal would make 16.1 ish but I was wanting to hear what heights other peoples foals had reached with these size parents?
It’s my mares first foal which I have read are normally smaller ?

it will probably end up around 15.3 - 16.1. if your lucky it might outgrow both! just take into consideration parents of the two you are breeding as could follow their heights x

Quite frankly it’s a lottery but you can almost guarantee it won’t be the height you want.

I put my 16.2hh mare to a 16.3hh stallion and the 6yo offspring is a slight 15.3hh ?

15.3 cob x mare put to a 16hh arab produced a 16.3hh baby (well when he grew up lol). Grandfather on mums side was quite tall though. We knew from birth that he was going to grow tall though we didn't believe the early string tests which proved entirely accurate!!
